NEDERLANDS CARIBISCH EN SURINAAMS RECHTSPERSONENRECHT
Tweede druk verschijnt begin 2023
In 2017 verscheen van mijn hand de monografie ‘Kort begrip van het Nederlands Caribisch Rechtspersonenrecht’ (zie plaatje onderaan de tekst). Zeer binnenkort leg ik de laatste hand aan de tweede druk, die evenals de eerste zal worden uitgegeven door Wolters Kluwer.
Sinds het verschijnen van de eerste druk van deze monografie hebben zich de nodige ontwikkelingen voorgedaan, zowel wat betreft wetgeving als wat betreft rechtspraak en literatuur.
Op 1 januari 2021 is in Aruba Boek 2 Burgerlijk Wetboek in werking getreden, waarin deels voor een andere opzet dan in Curaçao en St. Maarten is gekozen. …

Kralendijk – Adely Susana-Jansen is per 1 november 2020 benoemd tot tijdelijke bestuurder van Bonaire Holding Maatschappij N.V.
De Raad van Commissarissen van Bonaire Holding Maatschappij N.V. heeft Adely Susana-Jansen Bsc, MBA benoemd tot tijdelijke bestuurder. De benoeming gaat in op 1 november 2020. Zij was tot voor kort werkzaam bij Bopec als financial controller en superintendent finance. Zij was eerder werkzaam bij het Departement Financiën van Bonaire als waarnemend hoofd van de afdeling financiële administratie en als beleidsadviseur.
Na het vertrek van de vorige tijdelijke bestuurder per eind mei, heeft de Raad van Commissarissen tijdelijk de bestuurstaak waargenomen. …

BEING AN ATTORNEY FOR 30 YEARS
12 September 1989 – 12 September 2019
On 12 September 1989, Mr. Karel Frielink appeared at a public hearing of the District Court of Amsterdam. On the Public Prosecutor’s demand, he made the pledge necessary to become an attorney.
And then suddenly, I was an attorney. I can’t get rid of my past of course. But as long as I myself have the feeling that I can achieve something positive with this profession (also), I will continue to practice it.
