A historic decision
The National Assembly, Suriname’s parliament, passed the proposals for a new Civil Code (and related laws) on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. This project has been worked on for years.

De Nationale Assemblée (DNA), het parlement van Suriname, heeft op dinsdag 13 augustus 2024 de voorstellen voor een nieuw Burgerlijk Wetboek (en aanverwante wetten) aangenomen. Aan dit project is jaren gewerkt.
